There are plenty of lawn care opinions, but we think our client Scotts Miracle-Gro summed it up: “When we make something easier and less time-consuming, we think we have a good innovation.” Scotts was referring to their new Snap-Pac fertilizer spreader system in a recent article in Crain’s.

The Snap earned high scores from consumers for its ease of use, speed and simplicity.

Improved profit margins helped lawn and garden giant Scotts Miracle-Gro push through a late-breaking gardening season to grow earnings 50 percent in its second quarter, the company told investors Tuesday.
